Implement · Bounded AI implementation

Implement one manufacturing workflow with clear owners, limits, and success measures.

When AI Direction or equivalent evidence establishes a credible problem, owner, boundary, and success measure, Magnetta can configure, integrate, or build the smallest adequate capability and hand it over with evaluation evidence and operating rules.

When implementation is appropriate

Start implementation only when one workflow is ready.

Implementation is appropriate only when a workflow has a named sponsor and process owner, authorized test information, a current baseline, measurable success criteria, an approved tool or viable approval path, and the reviewers who hold relevant authority.

If that evidence is incomplete, AI Direction, source cleanup, conventional automation, process improvement, or a stop decision is the more responsible next step.

Choose the simplest workable solution

Buy, configure, integrate, build—or improve the process without AI.

The project does not assume custom software. Magnetta starts with the least complex option that can meet the validated requirement and preserve the assigned information, system, and decision owners.

Implementation options from process change to custom build
OptionUse whenEvidence required
BuyAn approved off-the-shelf product already meets the bounded need.Vendor fit, permissions, operating ownership, and evaluation plan.
ConfigureAn existing approved platform needs bounded instructions, sources, rules, or workflow setup.A maintainable configuration and named platform owner.
IntegrateValue depends on a controlled connection between approved tools or systems.Interface ownership, least-privilege access, failure behavior, support, and record authority.
BuildA repeated, valuable gap remains after suitable products and simpler methods are tested.Product ownership, acceptance criteria, security review, support, and maintenance scope.
No AIProcess repair or deterministic automation is safer, simpler, or more economical.A documented redirect or stop decision.

Standard deliverables

Hand over a tested operating capability, not a disconnected demo.

What the scoped project delivers

  1. Requirements, baseline, future-state design, and configured or integrated capability

  2. Test dataset, evaluation results, review rules, operating procedure, and training

  3. Administrative and technical handoff plus a 30-day stabilization review

Evaluation and authority

Test normal work, hard cases, missing evidence, and misuse.

The evaluation set, expected results, observed behavior, failures, corrections, and unresolved risks remain visible. Human-review and escalation rules state who checks the work, who may decide, and when the workflow pauses.

A 30-day stabilization review follows handoff. Continuing support or Managed AI is a separate decision, not an implied extension of the project.

Customer effort

Implementation requires process, technical, and specialist owners.

Responsibility and scope

The project is bounded by a workflow and explicit acceptance criteria.

Who owns what

Know who is responsible for each decision.

Implementation begins only after evidence establishes a credible problem, owner, boundary, and success measure.

Magnetta

Deliver the contracted design, configuration, testing, documentation, training, and handoff.

Manufacturer

Own acceptance criteria, approvals, operating use, risk acceptance, and consequential decisions.

IT or MSP

Support assigned access, integration, infrastructure, security, and handoff work.

Specialist authorities

Review and approve matters within their delegated authority.

Included

Standard project boundary

  • One validated workflow, agreed users, information, systems, success measures, and handoff
  • Design, appropriate configuration or limited integration, evaluation, documentation, training, and stabilization review

Not included

Requires separate scope

  • Unbounded custom software
  • Implied regulated validation
  • High availability or sensitive-data handling without separate scope
  • Extensive integrations, safety-critical use, customer-controlled information, or production support terms not explicitly contracted
